Friday, March 16
The City of Goose Creek and Carnes Crossroads host Leprechaun Bash at the Bar, starting at 4 p.m. with music, food vendors, a leprechaun trap making station, balloon twisters, crafts, a gold hunt for ages 2-8 starting at 5:30 p.m. and a visit from “Goose Creek’s largest leprechaun.”
Saturday, March 17
Don’t miss South Carolina’s biggest and Best St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The Parade kicks off with thousands of participants and watchers at 10:00 a.m. at King and Radcliffe Streets. The Parade proceeds down King to Broad with the conclusion at the Cathedral of St. Johns. Come celebrate with Metro Charleston’s schools children, step dancers, fiddlers, fire trucks, military units, local pro team mascots and some of the Lowcountry’s most famous Irish residents. But that’s not all, there’s much more activities around town both day and night.
In you’re out in Summerville, don’t miss St. Patrick’s Day Music,Oysters and BBQ, an afternoon of local music, barbeque, and oysters from 12-4 p.m. Bring you knives and gloves to enjoy fresh Bull’s Bay Oysters ( $10 a bucket ). Spend St. Paddy’s with the Charleston Battery as they open the 2018 season against FC Cincinnati. The Irish Fest and Fireworks will feature beer specials (head to The Three Lions Pub located on the second floor), Irish dancing, and post-game fireworks. The first 500 fans will receive a special edition Charleston Battery Irish Fest T-shirt.
Sunday, March 18
Arguably the coolest Irish bar around, Seanachai will keep doin’ what they do best: celebrating the luck of the Irish. They’ll have food and drink specials and live music and will be open for a hangover brunch on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
